Mapping Minds, Modeling Life

Moi et la nature

Hello! I’m John-Paul Akinbami, a first-year Biomedical Engineering PhD student at Johns Hopkins University with a passion for exploring how computational biology, neuro-oncology, and artificial intelligence can come together to transform precision medicine. My work sits at the intersection of systems biology and data-driven discovery, where I aim to uncover how complex biological processes shape disease and therapeutic response. I’m passionate about leveraging AI and computation to make healthcare more predictive, personalized, and human-centered. Beyond research, I find balance in long walks in nature, reading manhuas, cooking, and diving into YouTube rabbit holes that spark my curiosity in unexpected ways.
